John King has led many consulting firms focusing on Leadership, Strategy and Cultural Change issues, and the Training & Development of key executives. John was Founding Partner and President of CultureSync LLC, providing tactical solutions for mid and upper Management, Culture and Executive Coaching issues. John is co-author of The Coaching Revolution, from Adams Media. His second book, The New York Times #1 best selling Tribal Leadership, is published by HarperCollins and presents tools, models, distinctions and best practices in the field of business and executive coaching John is on faculty at the Central Eurasian Leadership Academy (CELA), The Middle East Leadership Academy (MELA), The South East Asia Leadership Academy (SEALA), and The Moscow International Leadership Academy (MILA). These academies present intensive leadership training for mid-career high potential candidates in their respective regions. Alumni of these programs are elected and appointed officials in their respective Parliaments and Cabinets, C-Suite members of corporate entities and Executive Directors and Key Staff of leading NGO organizations.
John is also in demand as a keynote speaker, and is internationally recognized as a senior teacher, coach, and program leader. His executive clientele have been featured on all major television Cable networks and in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes Magazine.
John lectured for 13 years at the Marshall School of Business and the Price School of Public Policy, Planning, and Development at the University of Southern California. He delivers the capstone module, The Cultural Map, Triads and Strategy, for the University of Arizona Eller College of Management, Southwest Leadership Program (SWLP), and was the 2012 Visiting Scholar on Leadership lecturing on, Culture, Triads and Strategy, at the University of Oklahoma.
John’s signature program is Power, Wisdom and Partnership. He is a Founder of Empty Your Cup, a world-wide virtual tribal conversation designed to enrich human relationships. John also conducts The Gatherings, an inquiry into the formation and sustainability of Communities of Honor. John is a certified facilitator of The Samurai Game®.
